I’m Allen Elfman, though around these red rocks,
many simply know me as MrSedona
a name earned through nearly 24 years
of living, working, exploring,
and occasionally knowing the shortcut
before everyone else discovers the traffic.

My journey began Stoughton, Massachusetts,
carried me through military service
in the United States Army,
across European waters with the Military Sealift Command as a Merchant Marine,
and eventually delivered me to Sedona—
where the scenery is spectacular,
the energy is undeniable,
and apparently everyone owns at least one crystal.

I’ve spent my life listening to stories,
building relationships, solving problems,
promoting businesses and recognizing opportunities
that other people sometimes walk past
while staring at their phones.

Today, I concentrate my experience, creativity
and slightly unconventional Elfman imagination
into six professional services:

Photography
I capture people, places, businesses and moments
with an eye for the details that make them memorable—
because “just point the camera and press the button”
is not quite the professional technique some believe it to be.

Drone Photography and Video
Through Drones By Elfman,
I showcase Sedona and Northern Arizona
from perspectives normally reserved for birds,
helicopters and people with extremely tall ladders.

Professional Interviews
From business owners and political leaders
to filmmakers, entertainers and inventors,
I know how to make people comfortable,
ask meaningful questions
and uncover the story hiding beneath the rehearsed answer.

Business Consulting
I help businesses identify opportunities,
strengthen their message and connect with customers.
Sometimes all a business needs is a fresh perspective—
and sometimes it needs someone brave enough to say,
“Maybe that idea sounded better in the meeting.”

Website Design

I create websites that clearly communicate
who you are, what you offer
and why people should choose you.
A beautiful website is wonderful,
but it should also generate interest—
otherwise, it is simply expensive digital wallpaper.

Content Creation
From promotional videos and social-media campaigns
to interviews, photography and brand storytelling,
I transform ideas into content people will notice,
understand and—if we’ve done our job properly—remember.

But equipment and technology
are only part of what I bring.

My greatest advantage is knowing people,
understanding Sedona
and recognizing what makes a story worth telling.

I bring decades of experience in media,
hospitality, tourism, sales, management,
business development and community relations
to every project I accept.

I have faced challenges.
I have changed directions.
I have reinvented myself more than once—
which is simply a sophisticated way of saying
I refused to sit quietly when life changed the itinerary.

I believe every person has a story,
every business has something that makes it different
and every great idea deserves the opportunity
to be presented with confidence.

My job is to find that story,
give it personality,
make it shine
and introduce it to the world.
